If you are on a workout program that is designed to build muscle, you may have considered supplementing your diet with individual amino acids. Many of those who are into bodybuilding pay a great deal of attention to their protein intake because protein supplies the body with the main building blocks that it will use to build muscle. Are individual amino acids necessary though? Or can you obtain all you need through a regular mixed diet?
